ABOUT USNigerian Techie started as a social media brand that evolved into a company providing customized technology and cybersecurity products, training programs and consulting services to clients primarily in the U.S., Nigeria and other African countries. Nigeria is the country with the largest economy and population on the African continent and Lagos, Nigeria's most populous city, has been dubbed Africa's Silicon Valley. We believe Africa will be the epicenter of future technological innovation and are invested in cultivating a strong customer base in this emerging market - thus, our company's name of "Nigerian Techie".
Nigerian Techie is also committed to promoting diversity and representation of Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) individuals in the tech industry as these groups are still heavily underrepresented in STEM fields. Through our annual scholarship program, we seek to award $1,000 to an underrepresented undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Computer Science, Information Science or any STEM subject.
